Evening Release and Reflection

How are you arriving to this article?

As the day winds down, it’s essential to create space for reflection and release. Our minds often carry the weight of the day with us, making it challenging to transition into restful sleep. Take this moment to honor your experiences while gently letting them go.

Try this simple micro-practice to promote calmness:

  • Find a comfortable seated position.
  • Close your eyes, if that feels good.
  • Inhale through your nose for a count of 4.
  • Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 6.
  • Repeat this pattern for 6 rounds.

As you breathe, imagine each exhale carrying away any lingering thoughts or tensions. Allow yourself to be present with this process.

To deepen your reflection, consider this question: What did I learn today that I can release as I prepare for restful sleep?

Remember, it’s okay to let go. Rest well.
