As we greet a new day, it can be helpful to pause and set a gentle intention for how we want to move through it. A clear intention can guide our decisions and interactions, bringing more clarity and purpose to our actions.
Start your day with a simple 3-breath reset:
- Find a comfortable position: Sit or stand tall, grounding your feet or your seat into the earth.
- Inhale deeply: Breathe in through your nose, filling your lungs completely.
- Pause: Hold the breath for a moment, allowing yourself to savor the fullness.
- Exhale slowly: Release the breath through your mouth, letting go of any tension.
- Repeat: Do this twice more, each time feeling more relaxed and centered.
After your reset, choose a tiny actionable intention for the day, such as “I will listen deeply in my conversations” or “I will take a moment to breathe before reacting.”
As you move forward, reflect: What is one small action I can take today to honor my intention?
